   Adult Classes 
                      Fall, Winter, Spring 2007 /2008                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Learn  the Craft of Pottery Making

         by Hand-building or on the Potter's Wheel!

Let your imagination go free while creating dishes, cups, pitchers, containers, teapots anything your   heart desires! Instruction will include the three basic methods of hand-building with clay (coiling, pinching and slab-work) as well   as introduction and practice in using the potter's wheel. Students will be guided step-by-step through all the processes from making a pot to firing, decorating and glazing it. Join us!  Use colored slips, glazes and under glaze colors, as well as Egyptian paste for jewelry. This an ongoing class, beginners   and advanced students are  always welcome!    

          
         

My name is Ursula Kaplowitz, I have been a professional
potter and sculptor for twenty five years and have been teaching
children and adults for sixteen years. It is my sincere wish to make
my studio a peaceful space where students can relax and create! 
While nurturing each unique individuality,    I love to  help make
fun and  beautiful pottery!

  Class A:

Tuesday Mornings,      starting October 23,  2007


9:30 AM-12 PM
 

The fee is $ 42.- per morning or $ 150.- for four weeks.

 

  Class B:

Wednesday Evenings,
starting October 24, 2007

6:30 PM- 8:30PM

 

The fee is $ 36.- per evening or $ 130.- for four weeks.
 

                 10% discount is given when four weeks are paid for in advance.

 

  We meet weekly from October 2007 through June 2008.
